I really love that this can control fly-away hair but still can be brushed and combed out easily. Cannot speak to hair growth as I already have a lot of hair and cannot tell the difference. This is the only gel I use now. I am 65 and my hair is salt and pepper (mostly salt) and this product does not turn my gray yellow.
